Fear comes in so many disguises. When you have finally started something you’ve always wanted to start, and you are at your first hundred steps of that thousand mile journey, a new kind of fear starts to set in.
When you have spent more than a year working on your goal, and you still cannot find any real results, my advice is, stick with it.
This is hard. I don’t want to lie to you, because I do not know when your harvest will start peaking from the soil of your investment.
Back in 2009, I started a business with my talent in art known as Sole Addiction. I did it until 2012… not very much came of it in terms of sales. I ended it for several reasons; the biggest one being that my ego was not prepared for the criticism! I was also not prepared for the amount of time it was going to take for me to be finally recognized.
Now, in 2014, I officially have my brand, Push Factor. The beginning is always wonderful. The excitement, the interest that comes from others about what your doing is always wonderful.
But it fades out, and fast. This is when fear sets in. The difference between me then and me now is that I am prepared for the scarce audience, the fact that I will have to grow a much greater tolerance in terms of patience, and that I will have to earn every single client I get.
If you are at this point as well, you will need to find something else other than external factors to motivate you. You are going to have to look deep inside of yourself to find the real WHY. Why you are waking up to do this, day, after day, after day.
Power Yourself. And Trust Your Own Power!
Lead yourself first, and lead yourself so well that others will have no choice but to follow you. This is my aim with Push Factor: to have so many people influenced by my own drive that it spills over into their own lives.
This is why I do what I do. This is My Push Factor. This is what motivates me.
What is going to motivate you this year? What is Your Push Factor This Year?
